There lies my soul.

The truth that defies me.

My attempts at cowardice,

Thwarted at its feet, 

There lies my soul

An ever evasive mirage

Beckoning me, reminding me

Of what it meant to be me

Shining like a beacon bright

And yet lost to me in a deluge

Of irreparable loss,

Of faith gone astray.

Of nonexistent meanings 

Of answers that dont answer

And questions never heard.

There lies my soul

A vestigial remnant 

Of a defeated mind

Obsolete! Redundant!!
